Wrenmoor Defence Systems Ltd is a fictional UK precision-engineering supplier to the aerospace and defence supply chain. It does not exist, it is not a customer, and none of the data on this site is real.
Why we built a fictional company
A compliance platform is difficult to show honestly. Screenshots of an empty product tell you nothing about what it is like to run a programme in it, and screenshots of a real customer publish that customer’s security posture - their open risks, their failing controls, their supplier list - on a marketing site. Neither is acceptable.
So we built a complete, internally consistent organisation instead. Wrenmoor Defence Systems Ltd is a precision engineer in the aerospace and defence supply chain, going through Cyber Essentials Plus and Defence Cyber Certification Level 2 at the same time. Its programme has the texture a real one has: some controls met, some not, evidence that is fresh in places and stale in others, and a supplier who has not returned their questionnaire.
What is in the tenant
Roughly 10,000 rows across 78 tables, generated so that the numbers agree with each other - the control count on the dashboard is the control count in the programme, and the evidence attached to a control is evidence that exists.

How we keep it from being mistaken for real
The name was checked against the register of UK companies before we adopted it, specifically so that it could not collide with a real business. An earlier fictional name was retired in August 2026 when we discovered it did.
Every hostname and email address in the tenant sits under the .example top-level domain, which is reserved by RFC 2606 and cannot be routed. The tenant is flagged in the platform as a demonstration organisation, and outbound paths from it fail closed: nothing it does can send an email, call a webhook or reach a real integration.
Wherever a screenshot appears on this site, this page is linked from its caption. If you ever find one that is not, we would like to know.
What this means for what you see
The product is real and the screens are unretouched - what you see is the interface you get. The organisation in them is not. Any figure quoted on this site that comes from a screenshot (168 of 193 controls met, 92% evidence readiness, 30 continuous checks) is Wrenmoor’s, and describes what a programme looks like rather than what a customer achieved.
