Cyber Essentials Renewal
Certificates typically last 12 months. Renew against the current requirements so your organisation stays certified.
What renewal involves
- Complete a fresh self-assessment against the current question set
- Confirm scope, patching, MFA and cloud services still meet the standard
- Certification Body review and certificate re-issue for another 12 months
New assessment accounts created from 27 April 2026 use Cyber Essentials v3.3 (Danzell). Plan renewals with enough time for remediation before expiry.
Renewal discount
Eligible Cyber Essentials self-service renewals save 15% on the official assessment fee. Cyber Essentials Plus audit-only and guided renewals save 15% when paid annually, or 5% on monthly quotes.
You qualify if your previous certificate was awarded in the last 14 months and you can provide your previous Cyber Essentials report. There is no public discount code — the rate is applied in the calculator. See renewal pricing for the size-band table.
